Beginning to wonder whether or not the extra cost is worth it

I kind of have mixed feelings about whether to recommend Rackspace or not. On the good side, we've always had a good experience with support when issues were small. They answer the phones right away and are quick to do what they can to help us. As far as that goes I guess they can call themselves fanatical.

On the bad side, we've had numerous failures which required backups to be restored. Sometimes they're very quick and helpful and other times, not so much. I think their support is probably better than what we found with other companies we've used, but it still isn't what we would call the best quality. Unfortunately, were beginning to wonder whether or not the extra cost is worth it seeing that they are more expensive than some of their competitors.

I read another review which said Rackspace is growing too quickly and, as a result, their quality and support are regressing. I think I might agree with that.
